Underground

Definition:
- Music that disregards commercial considerations in favor of artistic sincerity, creativity, and freedom of expression. Aspires to artistic individuality rather than conformity to passing fads and trends.
- A belief, practice, or culture that exists outside of the mainstream. Generally antagonistic of existing social, political, artistic, and cultural norms. Provocative.
- A music scene that hides from those who are less devoted, and who would trivialize the music and the culture.
Origin:
The underground can be traced back to sexual, spiritual, and political subcultures. It opens up space for experimentation and for critiques against the mainstream.
What is Trance?
Trance is a hypnotic form of electronic music with the goal of entrancing the listener. With its many subgenres and several offshoot genres, Trance has been incredibly influential in electronic music. There are many ways to describe Trance, here’s how we do:
